Terms and Conditions of Use and Purchase

1. General Information and Ownership

In compliance with Article 10 of Ley 34/2002, of 11 July, on information society services and electronic commerce (Spanish law), this website is jointly operated under a technical collaboration agreement by the professional team of Prefab Barcelona, led by Francisco Javier Regàs Arimany, Juan Carlos Bolaños and David Portabella. 2. Intellectual and Industrial Property

All content published on this website, including but not limited to text, programming code, images, logos, trademarks, navigation structures and most especially the technical and design content of the digital monograph "Compendium GRC ● UHPC", is protected by intellectual property rights owned by their respective authors or under the corresponding licences.

The total or partial reproduction, distribution, public communication, transformation or resale of any content on this website without the express written authorisation of the rights holders is strictly prohibited.

3. Purchase Conditions for the "Compendium GRC ● UHPC"

The purchase of the digital monograph is subject to the following service conditions:

• Format and download: The product is provided solely and exclusively in digital PDF format. After completing the secure payment through the Stripe gateway, the system automatically initiates the service by sending a personalised download link to the email address provided by the purchaser.
• File personalisation (Stamping): To mitigate unauthorised distribution, each PDF copy is dynamically generated with a visible watermark (PDF Stamping) on its pages containing the purchaser's email address.
• Exclusion of the right of withdrawal (Refunds): In accordance with Article 103(m) of Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007, of 16 November (Spanish General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users), the right of withdrawal does not apply to the supply of digital content not provided on a tangible medium once performance has begun. Since sending the personalised download link to the user's email constitutes the immediate commencement of the digital technical service, **no returns or refunds will be accepted** once payment has been made. If the purchaser experiences any technical issue preventing the proper receipt or reading of the PDF file, we undertake to provide the necessary support to ensure effective delivery of the document.

4. Technical Consultancy Services

This website serves as an informational and initial contact channel for our professional advisory and engineering services. The conditions governing these services are as follows:

• Formalisation of engagement: The information and forms on this website do not constitute a binding offer of services. The engagement of any technical consultancy service (GRC design, UHPC calculations, on-site technical advice, AI implementation, etc.) shall be formalised solely through the bilateral signing of a service proposal or professional services contract detailing the technical scope, fees, payment terms, delivery deadlines and applicable liability.
• Initial informational enquiries: Guidance-oriented responses provided free of charge via contact forms, chat or initial email correspondence are issued for informational purposes only. They do not under any circumstances constitute a technical report, detailed design, or binding engineering advice, and are exempt from any contractual or extra-contractual liability.

5. Conditions of the Technical Support Service Included with the Compendium

The purchase of the "Compendium GRC ● UHPC" includes an exclusive email assistance and support service related to the content of the technical compendium:

• Support shall remain active for a period of one (1) calendar year from the date of purchase.
• Questions will be answered directly by email by the authors of the compendium.
• Support is strictly limited to resolving queries and providing clarifications on the theoretical topics, formulations, tests and standards described in the document itself. This support does not under any circumstances replace a formal engineering engagement or a specific construction-design consultancy service for a particular project.

6. Exclusion of Technical Liability

The technical information and data contained on this website and in the "Compendium GRC ● UHPC" are based on the professional experience of the authors and the current state of materials technology. However:

The use of such information for actual construction projects, UHPC structural calculations or GRC application remains under the sole responsibility of the project engineer or site supervision of each project. Prefab Barcelona shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the interpretation, use or improper application of the technical guidelines provided.

7. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

For the resolution of all disputes or matters relating to this website, purchases made thereon or activities carried out therein, Spanish law shall apply. The parties expressly submit to the Courts and Tribunals of the city of Barcelona (Spain) for the resolution of any dispute, waiving any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them.
